the restaurant is very simple. you order to dine in or to go and you pay. if you dine in, they will serve your food on a plate. You can always walk into Anchorage Halal Market that connected to this restaurant when you wait for your food.

This place is definitely worth visiting. The food tasted amazing, the quantity was generous. We ordered the shawarma plate, the kabab and the chicken korma. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the chicken korma surprised me with how good it was. We only stayed in anchorage for a few days but I know if I stayed longer I would have come back to this place.

First time trying and I am a fan. Friendly family run business. Unique items that are hard to find in the Anchorage sprawl. Tasty fries, shawarma and green sauce that came with it. Loved the yogurt drink and bonus hot tea on a cold winter night. The service and food would make me come back for more, but it is also nice to support this business and promote diversity in Anchorage. Fo’ sho the shawarma will warm ya on a cold winter night.

I asked for recommendation at the counter because I have never had shawarma before. Was told to try to lamb kebab and the mixed meat plate (or something like that), I have absolutely no words to describe how good the food was. The lamb kebab was everything, the saucy meat and the crispy exterior. . . Just go, it’s 100% worth driving out in the miserable weather for.

Food was incredible! A ton of variety and vegetarian options, interesting/exotic snacks from other countries. Also, it’s attached to small supermarket that has plenty of cool snacks+interesting items. Overall a great restaurant!

First I want to say please eat a snack before you go. If they get busy then they get busy. No need for hangry as you may need to wait. Also know what you want before you arrive haha. I heard many say the lamb Burritos and plates were excellent! I ordered the chicken Shawarma and the curry chicken. I have had shawarmas all over the world. I would say this is better than the Turkish Doner by far. The white and green sauce they give you adds another dimension to the flavor. If I did not know any better this is Somalian food. And the spices and recipe blends the perfect flavor for that. Now this Shawarma was 11$ and well worth it. I have never ate just 1 before now. I took the chicken curry home to eat because I was full. Amazing. Now for the chicken curry, it was 21$ and they give you enough for 2 people. I cannot say enough. Very flavorful and just moist and soft chicken and rice. Now some said it was salty. This was not salty at all. It was flavored perfectly. I would definitely go back again. And Shawarma was more like a doner to me. Not like traditional shawarmas I have had even recently by a Lebanese couple. Definitely busy, great price, great service. The gentleman at the counter was a boss. He was truly amazing managing all those people and was still kind and smiling. Great place. Don't ever change. Thank you!
